A stump quote needs a finish plan

Stump grinding breaks the wood into chips. The remaining space may still need cleanup, soil or grass. Tell us whether those are part of your goal.

Ask what happens to the chips, how deep the agreed work goes and how the ground is left. Include stump size and access when you request the quote. That makes it easier to discuss the whole job.
